Reflexology

Reflexology helps to restore the flow of energy throughout the body. It works with the central nervous system to increase blood flow, promotes relaxation, and can positively affect the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine and immune systems in the body.

Reflexology is safe, non-invasive, and suitable for people of all ages. It can be used on its own for relaxation or alongside other health and wellness treatments to support overall wellbeing.

What To Expect?

Reflexology is a gentle, hands-on therapy that focuses on specific points on the feet, hands, or ears believed to correspond with different organs and systems of the body. The aim is to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural balance and healing.

During a reflexology session, you’ll be invited to relax in a comfortable chair or on a treatment table. You’ll remain fully clothed except for your shoes and socks. The practitioner will begin by gently cleansing the feet before applying light to firm pressure using their thumbs and fingers along specific reflex points.

Most people find the treatment deeply relaxing. You may feel sensations such as warmth, tingling, or tenderness in certain areas, which often eases as the session continues. Some people experience a sense of calm and rejuvenation afterwards, while others may feel energised or notice subtle changes in sleep, mood, or general wellbeing over the following days.

Reflexology can be used to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing processes. It’s a gentle, non-invasive therapy that works on specific reflex points on the feet, hands, or ears, which are believed to correspond with different organs and systems of the body.

Reflexology does not diagnose or treat specific medical conditions, but it can be a valuable complementary therapy alongside other treatments. Many people find it helps them feel more balanced, relaxed, and in tune with their body.
