Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses radial pressure shockwaves to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes.

This technology has been in use since 1999 and is especially effective in reducing pain, promoting tissue repair, and improving mobility in chronic conditions.
What To Expect?
A typical shockwave therapy session lasts between 2 to 6 minutes, depending on the area and condition being treated. During the session, a handheld device is used to deliver repetitive, high-energy sound waves (shockwaves) to the affected tissues. These waves stimulate the body’s natural healing processes by increasing blood flow, breaking down scar tissue, and promoting cell regeneration.
Most patients describe the sensation as a tapping or pulsing feeling, and while mild discomfort may occur during treatment, it is generally well tolerated and does not require anaesthesia. After treatment, it is normal to experience temporary soreness, redness, or mild swelling in the treated area for up to 24–48 hours.
Typically, a condition will require three to five sessions for optimal results; however, this can vary depending on the severity and chronicity of the condition. Your practitioner will assess your response to treatment and tailor the number of sessions to your individual needs.
Your first session includes a comprehensive assessment to ensure shockwave therapy is suitable for your condition, followed by your initial treatment. After this complimentary first appointment, subsequent sessions will incur a treatment fee.
